I love photographing all things motherhood from bump to birthdays and beyond. They say the days are long but the years are short and that is oh so true. When it comes to my babies I rely so much on photos and memories jotted down. Life with littles is such a blur and its my passion to give you beautiful images to document those fleeting moments. The Studio on Main
My studio is located the historic Wileys building in downtown Sioux Falls. This is where the majority of my sessions take place but I also love shooting on location. There are two shooting rooms and tons of natural light to make for a beautiful space to photograph newborns and milestones as well as maternity, family or other sessions. FAQ
How far in advance should I schedule my session?
Maternity sessions take place around 30 weeks along and newborn sessions are scheduled within the first two weeks after your baby is born, so I like to have these types of sessions scheduled 1-3 months in advance. Milestones or family sessions are typically scheduled 3 weeks or more in advance. I always try to accommodate last minute bookings though so it doesn't hurt to reach out and see if I can get you in!
What should we wear?
Studio wardrobe access is provided along with your session. I have several dress options for mom (they can be used for family, maternity or newborn sessions) and I provide outfits for six month and 1yr milestones. I also email over a "what to wear" guide after your session is booked with suggestions for dads or kids and family sessions.
Do we need to bring anything?
I provide all props and accessories for newborns through one year. I have a whole styled collection of props, wraps, hats, headbands, etc, that are specifically designed with newborn photography in mind and all coordinate beautifully. Props and outfits are also provided for your six month and one year milestone sessions so you do not have to bring a thing! I will send over a session prep guide that will suggest items to bring depending on the type of session like diaper bag, pacifier, bug spray but otherwise I got you covered!
What is included in my session?
Each package includes your session time, access to the client closet and the JSP prop collection, an online proofing gallery, 10 digital images with the option to add more, and printing rights.
